First possible case of monkeypox reported in Cusco

The Cusco Regional Health Management reported that last Friday, July 15, a probable case of monkeypox was found, which is why the population was recommended to continue with protection and biosecurity measures.

It was learned that the patient is hospitalized and isolated, and that the order samples have already been extracted. in order to be analyzed and confirm or rule out that it is the first case of monkeypox in Cusco.
