Marc Anthony, Don Omar, Juan Luis Guerra and other more than 3,000 national and international artists will perform in the completely face-to-face return of the traditional Flower Fair from the Colombian city of Medellin, which will take place from August 5 to 15.

The central days will be before closing, with the Amazing concert to be held on August 12 at the Atanasio Girardot stadium where renowned artists such as Marc Anthony and Silvestre Dangondalong with rising artists such as the Colombian Blessd or the popular Jessi Uribe.
“2022 has been a year full of stars on the country’s stages, and Medellin, Three years after his last visit to Colombia, the city of eternal spring welcomes one of the most influential artists of his time and a true ambassador of Latin music and culture, Mark Anthony“, assured in a statement sent today by the organizers of the event.
A day before, the August 13, it will be the turn of Don Omar, the Dominican Juan Luis Guerra and El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, which will fill the same stadium with salsa.
“We are going to have more than 3,000 artists, more than 100 public and private events throughout the city,” said the mayor in charge of Medellín, María Camila Villamizar, last week.

The Flower Fair, With which it is expected to generate 25 million dollars during the show, it will kick off on August 5 with an inaugural concert that will welcome 25,000 people.
It will also have the traditional Silleteros Parade in the street on August 15, when 520 silleteros will parade, in an ostentation of this traditional trade of carrying flowery wooden chairs.
And it will include events such as the Ball of the Flowers, which began last year, and which includes the inclusion of the LGTBIQ+ collectiveand will bring novelties such as the Popular Music Festival in Pueblito Paisa or an art circuit with more than 20 associated galleries.
