Viedma: 12 chocolatiers exhibited their craft products

A foundation from the Rio Negro city of Viedma that is dedicated to training in the production of artisanal chocolates and promoting entrepreneurship among people in vulnerable situations, held this Friday the first exhibition with twelve local chocolatiers.

The event was held at the facilities of the Municipal Center of Viedense Culturewhere many people toured the different stalls with free and free entry.

This meeting was organized by the “Fundación Más que Vencedores”, intended to train people who are in a state of vulnerability, free of charge, in the production of artisanal chocolate.

The head of the Foundation and master chocolate maker, Jaqueline Amnesticatold Télam that “we encourage neighbors to start entrepreneurship through artisanal chocolate making and thus contributing to family economic development.”

“This idea arises after so many years working on chocolate with my mother almost 36 years ago,” he assured.

Jaqueline explained that a strong neighborhood work is carried out, “we visit the neighborhood councils of all the neighborhoods, inviting the neighbors to participate, mainly the people who need to get out of certain complex situations”

“More than anything for those low-income women who have a totally emotionally unbalanced life, we break with all that and provide free training and supplies”assured.

Regarding the exhibition, the chocolatier teacher said that “this commitment has allowed them to have a very positive impact on people who were going through situations of depression, vices, family violence, relegation, among many other cases.”
