Despite dialogue tables, road closures and demonstrations continue in various parts of the country

The protests and road closures in various parts of the national geography do not stop, despite the fact that the National Government and the Catholic Church have set up a Dialogue Table in order to find a solution to the problems that afflict citizens.

Since the early hours of this Friday, the Inter-American highway, in the east of Chirica and in Santiago de Veraguas, has been blocked.

In Chiriquí, the talks would take place at the Jesús Obrero missionary center in Tolé, while the stage in Santiago would be the Juan Demóstenes Arosemena Normal School, at 10:00 a.m.

Netizens reported closures in Capira, where a group of truckers have been installed for days, causing a large vehicular congestion.

Panama Este does not escape this reality, since in Cabra, Pacora, Chepo they woke up with part of the road blocked due to the protests.

Similarly, workers affiliated with the Single Union of Construction and Similar Workers continued their day of protests at the national level.

The workers protested on the Pan-American Highway, near the 7 de Septiembre neighborhood, in Valle Hermoso (Arraiján), and in Howard. They also protested at the roundabout near the Tocumen International Airport, Vía Brasil and Calle 50.

Likewise, in northern Panama there were closures and demonstrations in Caimitillo and San Lorenzo.
