PSUV rejected statements by Bolton and Filipetti

The United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) issued a statement rejecting the statements by John Bolton, former US Security Advisor, and Carrie Filipetti, former US Undersecretary of State.

Both openly confessed before the international press the attempts to invade Venezuela militarily.

Below is the full statement:

The United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) supports and endorses the rejection expressed by President Nicolás Maduro Moros regarding the “arrogant and arrogant” public statements of former senior US officials who openly confess to having promoted criminal actions against the people and the government of Venezuela, in order to provoke a change of political regime.

Former United States Undersecretary for Cuba and Venezuela, Carrie Filipetti, said in an interview with the British network BBC that with respect to these two countries “maximum pressure tends to work better than rapprochement.” Meanwhile, the former adviser to the White House, Jhon Bolton, admitted in a conversation with CNN that he had helped plan coups in Venezuela (among other countries).

Apart from corroborating the complaints made so many times by our party, such statements denote “the hatred and defeat” of this North American elite – as President Maduro has reflected – because we defeated them thanks to the spirit of revolutionary unity of our people.

Venezuela has given a lesson in strength and will, dismantling with creative work and common effort the ruthless economic, judicial, terrorist, military and cognitive attack applied to Venezuela under the leadership of US governments, even in the midst of the pandemic that was plaguing Venezuela. The humanity.

From the PSUV we honor the patriotic commitment of each Venezuelan man and woman who joined in favor of the country during this hard period of Resistance and learning; while we embark with impetus on the new stage of sustained and original progress towards the Renaissance and the Revolution of our Bolivarian Socialism of the 21st century.

We and we will win!
