A 42-year-old man was the victim of a firearm attack at dawn this Friday in the city of Rivera.
According to the Rivera Police Headquarters, the violent event occurred on José Ellauri and Camino A. Denis streets, in the Lagunón neighborhood. The part indicates that the man received three shots: one in the face and two in the left thigh.
The medical staff who made the diagnosis indicated that the man is “hemodynamically stable.” As for the shot to the face, he was classified at level 15 on the Glasgow Coma Scale. This places him as a victim of mild head trauma.
Likewise, the Police indicated that there are three people detained for their possible relationship with the incident. The three are men of Brazilian citizenship who were apprehended in the Treinta y Tres Orientales neighborhood. The age of these subjects is 23, 26 and 27 years.
The detainees are at the disposal of the Prosecutor’s Office, who coordinates the actions together with the Investigations Directorate.
