Despite his delicate state of health, this month he experienced three events that could remove him early from the mayor’s chair, two of them are decisions of the Municipal Council, who suspended and vacated him, in addition, the anti-corruption prosecutor requests the revocation of the measures probation to which he was subjected in July 2021, a fact that could land him in jail.

Now, from the office of congressman Alfredo Pariona Sinche they reported that the Internal Control of the Huancavelica Prosecutor’s Office detected alleged irregularities in a fiscal file that is being followed against the mayor for the alleged crime of organized crime.
Pariona Sinche, sent official letter No. 1147-to the Provisional Supreme Prosecutor in the Supreme Prosecutor’s Office for Internal Control, María Isabel Sokovich Alva, requesting that she investigate why the prosecutorial file No. 14-2020 against Rómulo Cayllahua Paycán is without progress substantial for two years.

Given this information, we sought an interview with the president of the Huancavelica Board of Prosecutors, Jorge Valdivia, who stated that he cannot interfere in the investigation and that investigations into organized crime usually take several years, and this one, in particular because there are 26 investigated .
