Francisco Morales Bermudez He was born in Lima on October 4, 1921. He was 18 years old when in 1939 he entered the Chorrillos Military School. He graduated as a staff officer in the Superior School of War of Peruor.

On August 29, 1975, Francisco Morales Bermúdez overthrew with the so-called “tacnazo” General Velasco Alvarado. He had the support of the heads of the military regions, the Navy, the Air Force and the Police Forces.
Morales Bermúdez was invested as President of the Republic and Head of State in the second phase of the military process.
