The United States Sanctions 23 Sandinista Judges and Prosecutors

Ortega judges and prison directors would lead the "new package" of EU sanctions

The United States Department of the Treasury announced new sanctions against officials of the regime of Daniel Ortega and Rosario Murillo. Among those appointed are 23 Ortega judges and prosecutors who accused and sentenced the political prisoners of the Nicaraguan dictatorship.
