The Zamir Villaverde’s lawyer, Julio Rodríguezdenounced that his client has been held in a La Molina police stationas far as he went to file a complaint for an alleged adjustment of which the businessman would have been a victim.
As reported by RPP, on villaverde there was an outstanding arrest warrant that would have been the reason for which he was arrested. The incident occurred at the La Planicie police station.

Julio Rodriguez stated that it would be an “abuse of authority of an arbitrary detention,” according to the Combutters program. Likewise, he denounced that they had been making adjustments to his client with vehicles that he assured would be from the Ministry of the Interior.
The last Tuesday, July 12, Zamir Villaverde left the Ancón 1 prison in Puente Piedra, to serve restricted liberty while investigations continue into alleged acts of corruption in the award of public works in the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC).
Judge Manuel Chuyo Zavaleta was the one who revoked the preventive detention that the lawyer had been serving since the end of last March, following a request from the prosecutor in charge of his case, Karla Zecenarro.
The Prosecutor’s Office wanted to continue negotiating, but in recent days information emerged that his life was in danger, Therefore, they asked the court to revoke the preventive detention and grant him an appearance.
