Uruguay registered this Saturday 245 new cases of coronavirus on a total of 6,967 tests, reported the National Emergency System (Sinae). The positivity rate was 3.5%, although duplicate tests are also included in some people.

There are 2,332 active cases across the country and 14 people are in intensive care centers, according to the official report. Of the total of positive cases, 39 correspond to health personnel.
All departments report infected people this Saturday, and Montevideo leads the list, followed by Canelones.
Of the 245 new cases, 111 were from Montevideo, 34 from Canelones, 20 from Maldonado, 15 from Rocha, 12 from Cerro Largo, 10 from Tacuarembó, nine from Lavalleja, seven from Colonia, six from Paysandú, five from Treinta y Tres, four from Río Negro, four from Salto, two from Durazno, two from Florida, two from San José, one from Flores and one from Rivera.
