Colombia exceeded 129,000 deaths from covid-19

This Saturday, Colombia reported 45 new deaths from covid-19, of which 37 occurred on different days.

With that figure, the total number of deaths due to the pandemic in the country is 129,056.

Regarding infections, they were registered 1,813 new, after processing 28,228 tests (15,502 for PCR and 12,726 for antigens).

In the historical accumulated, the country reached 5’091.508 infections in the last year and 9 months, which have resulted from analyzing 28,587,711 tests.

Currently 4,932,304 people have recovered from the virus and 12,145 are still active.

Bogotá (1,466,366), Antioquia (775,312), Valle del Cauca (418,915), Atlántico (340,728) and Cundinamarca (266,583), the areas of the country that concentrate the majority of historical infections.

Worldwide, 269,608,800 people have been infected with covid and 5’300,491 have died.

Regarding vaccination, as of December 9, 65,719,722 doses against the coronavirus had been distributed and 60,040,692 had been applied. And the number of fully immunized people, with one or two doses, was 25,863,264.
