MEF transfers S/ 122.7 million to regions to pay teachers

The authorized a transfer of S/ 122,753,588 million in favor of the regional governments, to finance the differential cost that implies the payment of the allowance for additional working day and the allowance per position for teachers who temporarily assume positions of responsibility.

Through Supreme Decree No. 161-2022-EF, published today in El Peruano, said transfer operation of items in the public sector budget for fiscal year 2022 was approved.

It is worth mentioning that the authorized specifications and the transfer amounts per specification are detailed in the “Transfer of items to finance the differential cost of the assignment by position and additional work day of the teachers in charge of positions of greater responsibility.”

In this sense, the holder of the enabling specifications and of the specifications enabled in the transfer of items approves the disaggregation of the authorized resources within five calendar days of the validity of this legal device.

The resources from the transfer of items cannot be used, under responsibility, for purposes other than those for which they are transferred.
