Venezuela and the European Union evaluated plans of mutual interest based on peace diplomacy and respect between both parties.
During a meeting between the foreign minister, Carlos Faría, and the director general for the Americas of the European External Action Service, Brian Glynn, both representatives expressed their interest in strengthening relations between the regional blocs.
“We express the intention to strengthen cooperation in energy, environment, health, among other issues of mutual interest to our peoples, as well as cooperation between regional blocs,” Faría said on twitter.
The meeting also constitutes a starting point to advance towards the sustainable development for which the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, has advocated in national and international scenarios.
“Sustainable development in harmony between countries and with the human being at the center begins to flourish as the multipolar and multicentric world leaves unilateralism behind. With courage we advance towards that new world with the leadership of President Maduro”, emphasized the head of Foreign Affairs.
In May, the EU Charge d’Affaires in Venezuela, Rafael Dochao, delivered to the Foreign Ministry the calendar of the Activities of the European Year of Youth 2022, with the aim of carrying out joint activities with our country.
Venezuela at the forefront
The first national president, Nicolás Maduro, pointed out that through the Bolivarian diplomacy of peace, the country is at the forefront of the construction of a new humanity.

In June, President Maduro carried out a Eurasian and African tour of Turkey, Algeria, Iran, Kuwait, Qatar and Azerbaijan, in which he addressed the strategies promoted by Venezuela through the Bolivarian peace diplomacy for social and economic strengthening. .
