Rescued cougars now play in the middle of the forest

The three pumas rescued from the La Bendita ranch, owned by Misael Nallar, in the Guarayos province, owned by Misael Nallar (involved in the triple murder of policemen), They have adapted to their new temporary home: the Ambue Arí sanctuary.

Icelan, Simba and Akira arrived two weeks ago at the place, which is also located in the Guarayos province. They are two young females and an adult male, who were treated as pets despite being wild animals.

In a video spread by the Inti Guara Yassi Community the three cougars are seen playing, happily, in their natural habitat, but in captivity.

They are in good condition, they are cared for by veterinarians, biologists and volunteers from the feline sanctuary, they receive food according to their species. According to the publication, the Government of Santa Cruz has so far delivered 120 kilos of meat, the staple food of their daily diet.
