Nevertheless, the 30th Administrative Court of the Judicial Circuit of Bogotá determined that such diligence was not illegal, so the designer Nancy González de Barberi will continue to be held in the El Buen Pastor women’s prison until his extradition situation to the United States is defined.

Consequently, Judge Óscar Domingo Quintero Arguello determined that the designer “has not been subject to illegal detention, disappearance, cruel or incommunicado treatment by the authorities and does not prove that he has requested freedom before the Attorney General of the Nation.”

For this concept, the judge decided to “declare inadmissible the constitutional protection of the right to liberty deprecated by Nancy Teresa González de Barberi.”
