After passing through the G20 foreign ministers’ summit, santiago cafiero He traveled to Vietnam, with the aim of finalizing important trade agreements with the Asian country and deepening bilateral relations.

Among the issues discussed by the foreign minister, investments in energy and electromobility stand out; because one of the objectives of the visit of coffee was to “deepen and diversify the cooperation relationship on issues of importance to both nations,” according to the Foreign Ministry.
Therefore, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, together with his Vietnamese counterpart, expressed “their joint will to raise the level of the relationship through the establishment of a Sectoral Strategic Association in sustainable agriculture, food security and energy.”
In this regard, the foreign minister highlighted “Argentina’s place of relevance in terms of energy transition, fundamentally, in regard to the development of mining, particularly in regard to lithium exploitation projects.”
In addition, the politician highlighted the importance of renewable energies, where Argentina has the second largest world reserve of shale gas and the fourth in shale oil.
What agreements were signed
