Banco BISA executives shared with their corporate clients from La Paz, Cochabamba and Santa Cruz, information on the state of the country’s economy, as well as useful projections for planning in favor of enterprises and investments for development.

The data was presented in four sessions that allowed BISA to reconnect with its clients —representatives of corporations, businessmen and entrepreneurs— at the end of two years of the restrictions imposed by the pandemic.

“The idea has been to present an analysis of our economy, both historical and the current situation, so that entrepreneurs can get a good idea of ​​where we are with some tools that allow them to plan their activities in the medium and short term”, pointed out the business vice president of BISA, Franco Urquidi.

The executive thus closed the last exhibition that was held during a working breakfast that took place in Santa Cruz, which was attended by a group of 80 businessmen, economic agents related to various productive, investment and service areas.

Urquidi explained, precisely, that a first cycle of presentations that were also held in La Paz and Cochabamba concluded in that city. In Santa Cruz there was also a meeting with entrepreneurs and representatives of the SME sector.

Entrepreneurs who participated they thanked the initiative and highlighted the value of the information. In addition, they valued the empathy of the Bank’s executives when generating this type of approach.

“The data has been current, very well presented, but the most important thing has been to talk again personally with the bank’s representatives and at a different, beautiful, pleasant time,” he added.

Along these lines, BISA executives also valued the opportunity of this “reunion” with the Bank’s clients, but also for the opportunity to have information that can help companies make decisions at a time when the country is reactivating.

The presentations were given by the prominent economist and collaborator of the Bank, Carlos Ferrel, who presented data on economic growth and investment, the labor and monetary scenario in the framework of the current model in which the State plays a key role.

“We are at a breaking point. coming back from the pandemic, in which there are new balances in the economy; that have to be considered in decision-making processes,” Ferrel pointed out.

The data was weighted by one of the representatives of the corporations that works with BISA. He noted that Ferrel’s presentation was a “good snapshot of the state of the economy, very objective and without passion.” “We are optimistic, but expectant,” he said.

Banco BISA valued the very positive response of entrepreneurs in this cycle and underlined the need to “join efforts to move forward”.
