This Friday, the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) of the Guárico state, through a press conference, offered a balance about the renewal of street leaders in the plains entity.
The meeting was headed by the deputy to the National Assembly and regional liaison for the PSUV in Guárico, Hugbel Roa; Freddy Alí Gómez, executive secretary of the party in the region; Eduardo Puerta, PSUV organizer in the state; Dayana Encinozo, president of the Legislative Council of the Bolivarian state of Guárico (Clebg); Ramón Magallanes, deputy to the National Parliament, and other personalities from the entity’s government team.
156 thousand PSUV militants mobilized in Guárico
Hugbel Roa, as spokesman for the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, highlighted that last Saturday, August 20, there was a deployment of 156,000 party members, who elected 9,943 street bosses, which represents 98.53% of the goal set by the red awning, in more than 10 thousand 91 streets of the plains entity.
He indicated that 1,760 promoters were also elected, who will have the task of organizing and carrying out the election of the same number of heads of communities, this Saturday, August 27. “This process would thus allow the promoters to objectively be guarantors of the transparency of the elections, and they can run without any problems,” Roa explained.

For his part, he stressed that 33% of the elected street leaders are young people between 16 and 30 years of age, “which means that there was an excellent participation of our youth,” he said.
In the same way, he reported that 80% of the elected street chiefs in the state are women, pointing out that they are the ones who assume the leadership of the renewal of the base structures of the political organization.

In this sense, Roa specified that it has been a process in which the militants are responsible for electing the leadership of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela in the Guariqueño geography. “We want our bases to express themselves freely, we don’t want anyone to impose,” he stressed.
At the same time, he maintained that in the streets where the last elections could not be carried out, they will be attended by the auxiliary body of the party, who will be deployed to those areas to organize and solve the problems.
Strategies assumed by the PSUV
The Chavista spokesman said that one of the strategies of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela is to reach every corner of the state, approach the problems and “the war wounds that all these years of blockade and sanctions have left.”
Likewise, he specified that another of the strategies adopted by the red awning is to let the population choose who have been the real bosses who have been in the most difficult moments of each community. “Let the people decide who should be in charge of the party,” said Roa.
In this context, the deputy to the national parliament specified, regarding the complaints of the electoral assemblies, that he has received some through social networks and in the different situational rooms arranged in the region, whose reports will be attended and evaluated by the political party leaders.
Constant attention to the Guariqueño population
On the other hand, he explained that after the internal elections, the political organization will continue to be deployed with the aim of approaching the problems of citizens and addressing them, through the VenApp application and the various complaints they receive regarding public services. in the plain town. “The party is not going to stop working and is going to continue fulfilling the task,” he said.
The party’s regional liaison in Guárico stressed that, given the onslaught of the rise in the parallel dollar in the country, “we have given an example of how inflation can be combated, (…) with national production,” he said.
“This blow comes just a week after it was announced that Venezuela would be the country with the highest growth in Latin America this year,” Roa said, indicating that the objective of the strategy is to break the balance that the national government has achieved to date. .
For his part, he stressed that they have acted against the problem, announcing measures to avoid a major collapse in Venezuelan territory. “Our party is going to be vigilant to prevent a more forceful blow against the population,” he said.
