97.5% of the new cases of coronavirus in Santa Cruz are in the capital of the department

The Departmental Service of Santa Cruz (Sedes) reported that Today Saturday, 721 new infections were registered, 157 recovered and 342 vaccinated in the department. The capital of Santa Cruz concentrates 97.5% of the new cases of Covid-19.

The epidemiological report details that 60% of the target population has a first dose of the vaccine, 49% with the second, 16% with the single dose and 21% with the third.

Jorge Quiroz, Coordinator of Urban Networks of the Headquartersurged the population on Friday to reapply biosecurity measures and maintain due careespecially in closed places, to avoid further infections.
