Havana Cuba. – The twins Lisdani and Lisdiani Rodríguez Isaac, protesters of July 11, 2021 (11J), are being harassed by State Security and the authorities of the women’s prison known as Guamajal, in the province of Villa Clara. So I know reported his mother, Bárbara Isaac Rojas, to Mónica Baró, an independent journalist based in the United States.

Both 24-year-old girls were arrested on July 15, 2021 for having participated in the protests that took place in Placetas. They were accused of contempt, disobedience, attack, propagation of epidemics and vandalism, charges fabricated by state security and for which they were sentenced to eight years in prison.

Bárbara Isaac Rojas said she was very worried about her daughters because, although they are together in the same cell, a state security agent threatened to transfer one of the two to a prison in Havana if they continued to tell their mother what was happening. inside the prison

The harassment began after one of the sisters had an argument with jailer Yarielvis Romero Gamboa, an alleged collaborator with the political police and with whom they had already had a previous altercation.

Lisdiani is the mother of a five-year-old girl who has been left in the care of her 61-year-old grandmother, who explains that her mother and aunt are working. Every time the girl visits them in prison, she wants to stay with them, who have barely served eighteen months of an abusive sentence, like so many others imposed on 9/11 protesters, mostly peaceful citizens, who were accused of common crimes never proven to not give them the status of political prisoners.

Lisdani and Lisdiani have assured that they will not be able to separate them and asked their mother to report the harassment of which they are being victims.
