The authorities indicated that a group of people with face coverings, calling themselves the “black bloc” used explosive devices, sticks and other “dangerous objects” to break glass and create disturbances.
The Rescue and Emergency Medical Squad (ERUM) provided 37 medical attentions, mostly due to heat stroke, blows and sprains. In addition, 24 policewomen were treated at the scene.
Of the total number of people treated, only four were transferred to a hospital, of which three were civilians and one was police.
