The head of the Community Development Directorate (Dideco) of the Municipality of Santiago, Hugo Cuevas, reported that 84 people who irregularly occupied the central alley of the Alameda were relocated, after the intervention in conjunction with Carabineros personnel, the PDI and officials of the Seremi of Social Development.
Cuevas pointed out that the people were relocated to family residences, shelters and inns. “Each one of the people has the possibility of having a particular attention, with a roof, with food and psychosocial support in those places,” said the director of Dideco, according to what was reported.
