A 82 year old man, shot dead another, and wounded two more people in an incident that occurred this Sunday in the town The Guama, duarte province.
The deceased is Hipólito Paulino Ortiz, 66 years old, who was shot multiple times and died instantly at the scene from his injuries.
While those injured by gunshots were identified as Juana Fanas, 32 years old and Jesus Tello, who were taken to a private health center, their health condition was stable, this newspaper learned.
According to unofficial information received by Diario Libre, the perpetrator Francisco Rosa, 82, went to the house where the victims were, and without speaking began to shoot with a firearm.
