Venezuela registered 82 cases of covid-19, 75 due to community transmission and 7 imported, reported the Minister of Communication, Freddy Ñáñez.

On your Twitter account He said that the community cases are located in the following states: Miranda 38; Caracas 17; Yaracuy 8; La Guaira 2; Merida 2, among others.

Miranda today presents the highest number of infections in 9 of its 21 municipalities: Independencia 22; Urdaneta 5; Sucre 3; Simon Bolivar 3; Chacao 1, among others.

Of the 7 imported cases, the official detailed, 3 come from Spain, 2 from Panama, 1 from the Dominican Republic and 1 from Türkiye. All with entrance through La Guaira.

“We reached a total of 527,074 confirmed cases of covid-19, 2,326 active cases and 519,013 recovered people, which represents 99% of infections,” said Ñáñez.

He also said that to date we have 1,451 patients who are asymptomatic, 713 with mild acute respiratory failure, 120 with moderate acute respiratory failure and 42 in the Intensive Care Unit.

“Today we do not report deaths in our country, we maintain the figure of 5,735 in the national territory,” he concluded.
