After 20 consecutive Chicanas, in which he managed to suspend the hearings to delay the process, it was finally decided to bring to trial the case that accuses Gregorio Morales as the author of the homicide of a young man.
This Thursday the preliminary hearing of Papo Morales was heldafter 20 suspensions due to challenges and other dilatory resources used by the defendant.
Morales once again tried to challenge the same judge, who has already been ratified by an Appeals Court, for which reasonit is not possible to resort to this request again, less individually and haughtily as Morales claimed and without the intervention of a lawyer.
The accused did not allow the magistrate to speak or continue with the normal development of the hearing, so, they warned him to keep quiet and keep his composure. However, he refused and continued with the interruptions.
Given this attitude, the judge expelled Morales from the courtroom for misconduct and ordered him to be sent to the Judicial Branch checkpoint area, until the completion of the proceeding. In her representation, the lawyer was left.

The result of the hearing was the decision of bring the case to oral and public trial. The Sentencing Court must be drawn, whose members, once designated, will set the date for the start of the trial.
Morales is charged with intentional homicide, for the murder of the young Fabián Marín, which occurred on November 23, 2020. The investigation is headed by prosecutor Hernán Galeano, who confirmed his accusation and finally managed to have the case brought to trial.
There are images of what happened, where he observes that a man gets out of a white van, opens the door of a black car, fires several shots, gets back into the van and drives off with a woman, who would be Cynthia Burgos, Morales’s partner, also prosecuted.
