Minister Alexandre de Moraes of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) determined on Monday (15) the immediate execution of the conviction of the hairdresser Débora Rodrigues dos Santos.
Deborah was sentenced to 14 years in prison For the participation in the scammer acts of January 8, 2023 and by peering the phrase “lost, Mané” in the statue the court, located in front of the STF headquarters building.
Despite the determination to start serving the sentence, Moraes decided that Deborah could remain in house arrest, a benefit she won in March this year for having minor children.
In the decision, the minister recognized the final judgment of the conviction, that is, the end of the process and the possibility of appeals.
“I determine the beginning of the execution of the penalty of imprisonment, in closed regime, in relation to the defense Debora Rodrigues dos Santos, with the maintenance of house arrest,” he said.

In August of this year, the Supreme’s first class denied an appeal presented by Deborah’s defense.
Based on the vote of Moraes, who is rapporteur of the case, the collegiate understood that the hairdresser has no direct to the so -called infringing embargoes, an appeal that allows the revision of the sentence for defendants who obtained at least two votes in favor of acquittal. In the trial, the score of the conviction was 4 votes to 1.
“Thus, it is only one vote overdue by partial acquittal, as shown. In addition, the vote overdue exclusively regarding the dosimetry of the penalty does not constitute divergence that may oppose infringing embargoes,” said Moraes.
With the end of the trial, the hairdresser is convicted of crimes of violent abolition crimes of the Democratic Rule of Law, coup d’état, armed criminal association, qualified damage and deterioration of listed heritage.
