The Police and the Prosecutor’s Office investigate a homicide that occurred in Pando (Canelones), where a 54-year-old psychiatric patient he killed his mother with a knife and left her half buried.
The victim is a 77-year-old woman who lived with her son in a house located on Gabriel Pereira street near Laurnaga. Both were alone late this Friday afternoon, when the crime occurred.
The woman’s partner arrived at night and received the news from the murderer. He told her that he had killed his mother and that he had buried her in the back of the housewhere earth movements were observed, told The Observer the spokesman for the headquarters of Canelones, Alejandro Ferreira.
The policemen arrived at the scene after calling the emergency service and found the woman lifeless, half buried and with several wounds almost all over her body.
Right there, the troops arrested the man who said he had killed and buried her, who is now available to the Prosecutor’s Office.
