The Rocha Prosecutor’s Office charged a 73-year-old man with committing a crime of sexual abuse against an infant that allegedly occurred in La Paloma.
According to the Rocha Police Headquarters, the complaint was filed with the authorities on November 3, 2021. That woman appeared before the Prosecutor’s Office and indicated that her six-year-old daughter was the victim of sexual abuse by a relative .
The Family Justice received the case and ordered a series of limiting measures while the case continued its course.
In the last hearing, the Legal Justice of the 6th Shift of Rocha arranged to formalize the septuagenarian for committing a crime of sexual abuse and repeated crimes of especially aggravated sexual abuse. As part of the precautionary measures ordered, total house arrest and the prohibition of approaching or communicating with the victims were imposed. Likewise, he must remain under house arrest and submit to monitoring of compliance with it.
