Hundreds of citizens who were allegedly scammed with a trip to Colombia are waiting for the general director of Public Prosecutor’s Office PersecutionYeni Berenice Reynoso, do justice by investigating and bringing to justice the owner of the company “De Vacaciones RD”, Emmanuel Sánchez.
The information was provided by Juana Stefani Martínez, who explained that she paid $1,199 to travel to Colombia with her daughter to celebrate her 15th birthday with a trip to Bogotá, Medellín and other cities for a week, but she never received the call to make the trip until the scandal broke out when dozens of Dominicans were left in Colombia without hotel reservations and without plane tickets to return.
During a visit to the editorial office of The National The complainant explained that as WhatsApp groups have been formed, the number of people who have been scammed exceeds 700 and there are projections that this number could exceed a thousand as people from the provinces join.
Faced with this reality, the 700 people who were scammed are hoping that Deputy Attorney General Berenice Reynoso will do justice by investigating the case and proceed to bring the owners of the De Vacaciones RD agency to court so that they pay for the damages caused to hundreds of people who were trying to travel for tourism, to do business, study, and other activities.

Martinez described the alleged scam as delicate, because according to the information received, a person residing in Punta Cana, La Altagracia province, paid 500 thousand pesos, because he was going to travel with several people and another person from Barahona paid 300 thousand pesos, therefore the evidence they have indicates that this is a scam of several million pesos.
