Quite complex is the situation that occurred during the afternoon of this Tuesday, January 4, 2022 in the Los Venados Tunnel in Alto de la La Línea.

Seven dead and 33 injured leaves the accident in the new Los Venados Tunnel in Alto de la Línea this Tuesday, trucks and a public service bus involved, confirmed Highway Police.

After the road accident, the Traffic Police and other authorities confirmed the fact so far, leaving 7 dead and 33 injured.
Inside the bridge there was a variety of merchandise transported by the tractor-trailers.
This is how several trucks were left after the strong crash.
The injured people had to be transferred immediately to Hospital Santa Lucia de Cajamarca.
Several referred to different nearby healthcare centers. The identities of the victims have not yet been released.

The magnitude of the situation has been evidenced through several videos revealed by the drivers and passengers who were moving along the road at the time of the accident.
The passage through this road is completely closed, authorities recommend traveling along the old route.
This was not the only accident registered this afternoon in that area, because on the road that connects Pereira – Armenia a bus overturned and ended up colliding with other vehicles passing through the area.
