69% of the Covid-19 cases are in the axis departments; six deaths were reported

The first Friday of August the cases of coronavirus in the country add up to 4,106; most are in Cochabamba (1,160), Santa Cruz (879) and La Paz (832), according to the report from the Ministry of Health, which reports the death of six people, due to Covid-19.

The increase in cases in Potosí is strikingwhich registers 291 new infections, when at the beginning of the month, that is, last Monday it reported 70. In Oruro, 266 infections were reported, while on August 1 it detected 47.

On the day 4,901 people recovered from the diseasethat is, they exceed the reported infections.

On the other hand, the Ministry reported that to date 14,720,221 anticovid vaccines. Of these, 6,305,139 were first doses; 5,086,726, second; 998,652, single doses; 1,967,599, third and 362,105, fourth doses.
