64 assets of the Perdomo brothers were auctioned before the trial ended

A total of 64 assets belonging to the brothers Rafael Guillermo and Roger Vicente Rodríguez Perdomo were allegedly being put up for sale at auction by a private company, according to judicial sources.

This sale was supposedly negotiated before the end of the forfeiture trial, which ended last Wednesday, the source explained.

Precisely the assets of the Perdomo brothers passed into the hands of the State last Wednesday, after a trial for forfeiture of ownership that took place in the 15th Civil Court with jurisdiction in that matter.

Latest News published the information and as a result, users sent a catalog of real estate that was being auctioned through a publication on social networks. In the aforementioned publication, a photograph of the good offered appears with the market value price and next to it the suggested auction price.

These offers (see attached list) include three offices in the Sena Tower, a SPA, a commercial premises and 28 parking spaces. Also seen: two offices in Torre La Castellana, one location in the Torre Europa and another in the Galipán Business Center.

The offer also includes five offices in the Guayana Tower and two in the BNC Tower.

The Perdomo brothers were arrested in April 2023 on the occasion of the so-called Anti-Corruption Operation that also keeps former ministers Tarek El Aissami (Oil) and Simón Zerpa (Finance) behind bars; as well as the former head of the National Superintendence of Cryptoactives, Joselip Ramírez, the former deputy Hugbel Roa, the former vice president of PDVSA Antonio Pérez Suárez and the businessman Samar López, among others.

All are accused of participating in a corruption scheme detected within PDVSA that consisted of parallel operations for the sale of Venezuelan oil without the foreign currency entering the Venezuelan State, according to investigations by the Public Ministry.
