The National Anti -Drug Superintendent, m/g. Danny Ferrer Sandrea explained that 6,104 people have been captured in the execution of 4,997 procedures, carried out against drug trafficking and that correspond to the program “The National Anti -Drug Superintendence always with you”, which maintains a frontal fight against this crime.
In addition, he informed that more than 51 thousand kilograms of illicit substances were seized as a result of more than eight thousand operations carried out by the security organs of the Venezuelan State to guarantee peace in the country, as reported by the National Anti -Drug Superintendent, m/g. It should be noted that the states that led these drug seizures were Zulia, Falcón and Táchira, while 398 aircraft used for illegal activities were neutralized.
These actions are part of the Bolivarian Government’s commitment through the National Anti -Drug Superintendence (SNA), which focuses on the fight against corruption, organized crime, illicit drug trafficking and terrorism.
Sandrea highlighted the crucial role of state institutions and popular power in this struggle, and stressed that the promotion of cultural, sports and scientific values is key to preventing drug use.
On the other hand, he pointed out that the National Anti-Drug Plan 2026-2031 promotes an inclusive and participatory approach to combat illegal traffic, control chemical substances, prevent undue consumption and address capital legitimation.
He informed that, until now, more than 17 thousand citizens have contributed proposals through digital platforms, with the goal of reaching 30 thousand consultations to guarantee a significant representation of Venezuelan society in the formulation of effective policies.
