Between February 2024 and January of this year, the theft of 63,303 cars with insurance throughout the country was recorded, of which 36,527 units stole with this format.
It is in Sinaloa, Guerrero and Chiapas where more robberies of violence occur, with rates of 83%, 79%and 74%, respectively.
The Amis stressed that of the more than 63,000 cars that were stolen in the last year, 41% of them were recovered.
In addition, 60% of the cars that recover or locate the most are those whose robbery is reported in the first 4 to 6 hours.

The Amis announced that in the last year the most stolen private cars with Kia Rio, with 466 of the 628 cases. Second is Mazda 3, with 378 of the 510 cases.
Volkswagen’s vento was robbed with violence in 669 of the 903 cases.
