Members of the Strategic Operational Command to Fight Contraband (CEO-LCC) 50 boxes of explosives were seized (between detonators and slow fuse) and five non-electric detonators.

According to an informative note from the Ministry of Defense, the operation was carried out on the Chaguaya-Escoma highway, Camacho province, 149 kilometers from the city of La Paz.

The explosive material was transported in a truck with control plate 1152-ZEY, which was driven by Rolando HV and who fled at the moment the vehicle was to be intercepted.

It is known that this is the first time that this type of seizure has been carried out, at least in that sector.
