50 people have been apprehended at checkpoints on the Cinta Costera for having pending cases

More than 600 prohibited items such as knives, razors, bottles and others are confiscated at the access and control points established by the National Police along the Cinta Costera.

Commissioner Elmer Caballero indicated that 50 people requested by trades and summons are apprehended and placed under the orders of the corresponding authorities, detailing that this Carnival Monday some 7 people have been processed, including one for disturbance of order.

Meanwhile, this Monday, February 20, an average of 11,000 people have entered to participate in the culecos in this sector.

At the accesses to the Cinta Costera, police units and other security forces carry out verifications to guarantee that nationals and foreigners can safely enjoy the 4 days of carnival.
