50% of Dominican households reported having increased the use of digital services and transactions during the covid-19 pandemic.
This is established by Phase 2 of the High Frequency Telephone Surveys of LAC 20221 carried out by the World Bank and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
The research shows the state of the region in six areas: labor market, income and food security, education, gender, health and digital and finance.
In the presentation via Zoom spoke Luis Felipe López-Calva, UNDP regional director for Latin America and the Caribbean; Carlos Felipe Jaramillo, Vice President of the World Bank for Latin America and the Caribbean; Ximena del Carpio, from the World Bank, and economist Marcela Meléndez, from UNDP.
