Inhabitants of the Miguel Peña parish denounce that since the beginning of 2021 they have been left without a tone on their Cantv telephone lines and despite reporting the failure they have not received a response on a solution for the community
A year has passed since the inhabitants of the Bella Florida urbanization, located in the Miguel Peña parish, in Valencia, Carabobo state, were left without a tone in their residential telephone equipment and therefore cut off.
Ernesto Sumoza is one of the residents of the sector and explained that due to lack of maintenance in the wiring of the Cantv company, the service stopped working and so far they have not received any type of response in this regard.
“We have asked the management of Cantv and the municipal authorities to heed our call and to solve the communication problem that we are going through, but they have turned a blind eye,” Sumoza commented.

The resident explained that part of the wiring is submerged in water in one of the sewers and is in very poor condition, which he considers is the reason why they were left incommunicado in the town.
Neighbor Eliezer Román urged the management of Cantv to send a crew to the community and attend to the need for communication in an area where 50 families live and who have already had a year without telephone service. He assures that if they do not receive a response from the telecommunications company in the coming days, they will carry out street actions together with other residents until they are heard.
