The Golden 5 raffle this Thursday, January 5 left millions of money deliveries and record numbers.
This Thursday there were no hits in the pot of goldwhich delivered more than $45.7 million and there were two hits in the Revancha wellwhich delivered $161.3 million.
Tickets were sold at a kiosk in Rosario (Colonia) and another in Maldonado.
Ricardo Berois, general director of Lotteries and Quinielas, told The Observer that there were 1,780,000 bets.
The bets are usually more in the interior than in Montevideo. In last Tuesday’s draw, for example, it had been 60% in 18 departments and 40% in the country’s capital.
