He Blue Cross Mexican passed over the Vancouver F.C. Canadian and, with a 5-0 win, qualified for the round of 16 of the Champions Cup of Concacaf. With three goals from Luka Romero, one from Jorge Rodarte and another from Argentine Nicolás Ibáñez, the Blues led by Argentine Nicolás Larcamón won the series 8-0, after having won 0-3 in the first leg.
The Mexicans went from less to more in the first half against an opponent who started out orderly, but after half an hour began to blur and were surpassed. In the 37th minute, Romero got an assist from Jeremy Márquez and with his left foot put it into the net with the collaboration of goalkeeper Callum Irving, making it 1-0.

In the round of 16, the Azules will face the Rayados de Monterrey, who yesterday eliminated the Guatemalan Xelajú.
