MADRID, Spain.- A group of 43 Cuban migrants was detained after making landfall in the Marquesas Keys, as reported Tuesday night by Walter N. Slosar, chief agent of the United States Border Patrol.
According to the information, shared through the social network Twitterthe Caribbean, who traveled in a rustic boat, were taken into the custody of the US Border Patrol for the corresponding immigration process, which generally ends in repatriation.

Previously, also on November 1, Slosar had reported on the arrest of nine Cuban migrants who made landfall on Coco Plum Beach, in Marathon, Florida.
While on Sunday the United States Coast Guard (USCG) reported the repatriation of 106 Cuban migrants and a dog.
The return of the Cubans to Cuba was in charge of Coast Guardsman Richard Etheridge after several operations off the coast of Florida during the past week.
