$ 402,000 million have been delivered to dead and sneaked in subsidies: Comptroller

The Comptroller General of the Republic detected that More than $402,000 million were transferred from social programs to deceased and cast in the Sisbén. The programs of Colombia Mayor, Families in Action, Youth in Action, Solidarity Income and VAT Refund were analyzed.

Total, $11.2 billion was analyzed in 90 million transfers for more than 11 million beneficiaries. The Office of Information, Analysis and Immediate Reaction of the Comptroller affirmed that the identified beneficiaries received the transfer in their bank accounts.

On the other hand, in the Sisbén, $267,393 million were transferred to registered people, but they did not have the score to receive the aid.

$130,679 million were transferred to people who were not registered with the entity. In addition, 19,951 deceased received a subsidy from the five programs worth $3,843 million.

Also, 137 people received a subsidy even though they appeared as pensioners before the transfer date.

The Directorate of Information, Analysis and Immediate Reaction of the Comptroller identified that se made 3,087,207 transfers for more than $402,000 million to 390,131 beneficiaries in 2021.
