Two men and a woman, who dedicated themselves to illegal fuel of a PDVSA pipe and then market it, were arrested by officials of the Bolivarian Police of the Anzoátegui State (Polyibanz).
The other involved is a PDVSA worker who had bought part of the fuel, who was also apprehended in the procedure that took place on Tuesday, September 2 at La Bombilla street of the population of Naricual, Bolívar municipality.
The director of Polybanz, Power Cano Nieto, informed that the officials in patrol work surprised Freddy Morón, 51, driving a truck that came out of a wooded area, showing suspicious behavior, so the vehicle was intercepted and when the inspection was performed, three drums were found with more than 60 liters of gas condensate.
Cano Nieto explained, which Morón confessed to having bought the fuel from the other three detainees, and guided them to the house located in the adjacencies, where they stored the product.
The chief commissioner indicated that in the house 29 drums of 20 liters were found each and a drum with capacity for 200 liters, and their caregivers were Katiuska Rivero (48), Cándido Hernández (60) and Antoni Hernández (25), so they were arrested.
In total, 840 liters of fuel were seized, and a white haojin motorcycle without a plate.
Those involved, together with the evidence collected, were transferred to the Criminal Investigation Service (SIP) of the Police and made available to the Prosecutor’s Office for the corresponding legal actions.
