The Scientific, Criminal and Criminalistic Investigation Corps arrested four subjects involved in sexual abuse against a minor under 12 years of age, an event perpetrated in Ocumare del Tuy, in the state of Miranda,
Sources reported that the detainees were identified as Héctor Bermúdez Urbina, 21 years old; Darwin Bermúdez Urbina (18) and Yordin Urbina (25), all uncles of the ill-fated minor.
Marjorie Urbina (47) was also arrested, as was Henrry Mejías (60), a neighbor involved in the sexual abuse.
The girl was allegedly living in deplorable conditions and her family allegedly not only physically abused her, but also gave other neighbors the opportunity to abuse her.
The situation came to light when the girl’s mother returned to the country and noticed worrying changes in her daughter’s behavior.
After a sincere conversation with the minor, the mother decided to file a complaint with the Cicpc.
