On the night of this Thursday, September 29, a strong tremor of 4.7 was recorded in the south of Colombia, more precisely in the border with Ecuador.
As revealed by the Colombian Geological Service (SGC), the epicenter took place in the municipality of Free Port, in Sucumbios (Ecuador), however, it was also felt in the departments of Nariño and Putumayo.

The telluric movement was felt, both in Colombia and in Ecuador, because its depth was less than 30 kilometers.
