A 4.3 magnitude earthquake shook the town of Iloa, in the province of Ilo, Moquegua region, on Saturday morning. According to the Geophysical Institute of Peru (IGP), the tremor occurred at 6:36 am, with its epicenter located 80 kilometers south of Ilo and at a depth of 26 kilometers. The intensity of the earthquake was grade III in the city of Ilo.
On the other hand, the last seismic movement recorded by the IGP also occurred this Saturday, August 17, with a magnitude of 4.2 in the Lima region. The epicenter was 53 kilometers southwest of Huacho, in the province of Huaura, at a depth of 70 kilometers.
