This measure was taken after, in one of the audios revealed by agent Junior Izquierdo, the Minister of the Interior was allegedly heard, Juan Jose Santivañezensuring that the vehicle assigned to the Presidency was used by Cerrón to travel to Pisco.
“Do you remember that the president’s casket was on the beach? She was going to look for Cerrón on the beach,” the Interior Minister is reported to have said. “She was moving around in the casket so that the police wouldn’t stop her.” “The casket was on the beach, because they had already left it in Pisco,” he added.
As we recall, in February of this year, the official vehicle of President Dina Boluarte was captured at a gas station near the Mikonos condominium in Asia, where the failed operation to capture the former regional governor of Junín took place.
In this regard, the Public Prosecutor’s Office requested from the head of the Military House of the Government Palace, as well as from the Secretary General of the Presidency, “a documented report on the fleet of vehicles destined for the official use of the Presidency from January 2023 to the present.”
The petition also requests a “documented report on the drivers of the fleet of vehicles used by the Presidency from January 2024 to the present,” as well as “the logbook of one of the vehicles assigned to the Presidency of the Republic, from January 1 to August 31, 2024.”
On the other hand, the Attorney General’s Office requested a report from the General Command of the National Police on the capture operation in the Mikonos condominium, in Asia.
