Three women were arrested for allegedly covering up sexual abuse committed against minors, according to reports.
The incident occurred in the Brisas del Retoño sector, 9th street, Las Vegas (Cojedes), where commissions from the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) went to arrest Margarita Josefina Morales Avilez, Marlenys Josefina Parra Gutiérrez and María Alejandra Rojas Delgado .
The incident was reported by an official from the Council for the Protection of Children and Adolescents of the aforementioned town in Cojeda, who informed the Criminal Investigations Directorate of the PNB of the abuse committed against a 6-year-old schoolgirl.
Because of this abuse, the girl was detained at the Egor Nucete Hospital, located in San Carlos (Cojedes), an establishment where police officials went and confirmed the damage through the forensic evidence collected.
Minors admitted
Subsequently, the agents interviewed several minors under 14 years of age who were accompanied by their representatives.
These minors admitted their participation in the investigated event and added that their parents were aware of the situation, says the PNB report to which we had partial access.
The police investigation revealed the existence of a second 11-year-old victim who has autism syndrome, according to testimony collected by the PNB.
The procedure was notified to the sixth prosecutor of the Public Ministry, Jeinny Toledo.
Last week PNB officials arrested seven people in San Carlos (Cojedes), who are allegedly responsible for the sexual abuse inflicted on a 14-year-old teenager.
Among those arrested in that case are the boyfriend and parents of the sexually abused minor.
