Motor pumps, hoses, fuel, electrical plant, among other materials, were seized.
The Strategic Operational Commander of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Ceofanb), G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez, reported that 3 people were detained, who were in a mining camp in the state of Amazonas.
The detained people are: Carlos Enrique Eleika Colmenares, (44 years old), Angelica Mariana Cordero Ochoa (27) and Reiny Javier Gutierrez Rodríguez (30).
The seized material is the following:
- Four (04) 13 HP motor pumps,
- One (01) 20 HP motor pump,
- Two hundred (200) liters of gasoline type fuel,
- Eighty (80) 4” PVC plastic pipes of 06 meters,
- One (01) 1300 HP power plant,
- Twenty (20) rugs used as a sieve,
- Eighty (80) meters of 1/2” hose
- One thousand two hundred (1200) meters of 4” high pressure hose
- Three (03) 4” maraca type hoses of 06 meters,
- One (01) metal snail,
- Three (03) metal mining pans type suruca and
- Four (04) belts for mining engine.
All the material and equipment was incinerated at the scene, for being used for the depredation of the environment in illegal mining activities, prohibited by the Venezuelan State, in accordance with the provisions of the Environmental Criminal Law, violating the legal system and national security and defense. Remembering that mining and hydrocarbon exploitation is prohibited in the state of Amazonas.
Said Procedure was notified to the Public Ministry.
